Learning Box's Monthly Preschool Curriculum Program
The Learning Box
Preschool is a
monthly preschool curriculum
program
for childcare providers, parents at home, or daycare centers. Our
program includes creative
art activities and crafts, theme related-projects, and the supplies
necessary to complete them. Each curriculum kit or Learning box is
organized with the childcare provider or parent in a user-friendly
way to help save prep time and money. Having all the supplies in
one place provides a more affordable option and we delivery directly
to your home door step or place of business!
Our preschool program is
designed to teach skills and concepts that are reinforced with in a
wide variety of activities. We try to keep the children having fun
and keep learning exciting through dramatic play, music, movement,
math, science, circle time, and early literacy experiences. The
Learning Box Preschool program gives the children an opportunity to
learn how to learn by allowing them to discover answers on their
own. This is accomplished through hands-on activities that will
stimulate their natural curiosity and each child’s individual
creativity. An example of this is found every morning during circle
time there is discussion time using the mini-box in which introduces
the days activities.
The
curriculum
guide is easy-to-use with helpful hints for parents using the
preschool program at home and childcare providers teaching a
preschool setting. Examples of these hints are “extra’s” such as
food experiences and field trips. Each month the preschool program
is design around two different themes. Integrated into the themes
are one new shape, two colors, and three alphabet letters.
Each month’s
curriculum themes are designed with certain learning “fun”damentals
every child needs to succeed in school especially during their early
childhood education. They are repeated often throughout the theme
and it is our belief that they should be taught in a positive and
accepting environment so that all children will feel successful.
After all, learning should be fun! Whether you are a parent
teaching your own children at home or a childcare provider, our
curriculum activities foster a positive self-image. These daily
activities also help assist with the children’s intellectual,
social, and emotional development. Small and large motor skills are
also addressed to facilitate physical development.
Many educators believe that children who have been enrolled in
preschool develop positive self-concepts and basic understandings
and skills that make them better able to apply their efforts to
intellectual tasks when they enter school. It is our goal at The
Learning Box Preschool that with our annual curriculum program or
monthly preschool kit the children will be prepared to enter their
next step in their early childhood education with the necessary
building blocks to be successful.
